MEDIA CELEBRITIES AND YOUNG PEOPLE'S ASPIRATIONS - A visual research project
This project is under way at the moment, with fieldwork being conducted November 2003 - March 2004. I gave a talk about the 'work in progress' at the UK's Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association conference (19–21 December 2003). The Powerpoint slides appear below. Of course, viewing the slides without the explanations doesn't give you much depth or detail, but hopefully the slides are reasonably self-explanatory.
